The derma roller really is an effective tool for face! I love it.

I use the derma roller on my face at night with the vitamin c serum, and the results are awesome! I first wash my face with a cleanser and then pat dry. I use the roller and I roll up and down and diagonally. Too be honest, it does kind of hurt rolling these needles on your skin.. I'm not going to lie it does sting a bit but oh do I love the feeling when I put on the serum after rolling.. There is a tingling sensation and I just know it means that the skin is absorbing all the vitamin c serum and that the derma roller has done its job. In the morning my skin is soo soft, and the redness from rolling is completely gone.
I only use the derma roller 2-3 times a week because I am afraid I might over-stimulate my skin, and I find this to be a reasonable usage span. I can definitely see my skin feeling tighter and softer. I have some scars on legs and arms that I am going to start derma rolling on and I hope the results are the same like my face. I really like this product because it's a one time buy kind of deal, once you buy it you'll always have it, you don't need to replace it!

Derma roller with good results

This seems to be a very stimulating product. I would only use it 3-4 times weekly. But I have very sensitive skin.The roller has little needle that rum over the skin. Don't rub very hard or you will have hurt your skin. It is made to be used very gently . I think it will take a little longer use to get the desired result. This would make a very good Christmas gift. I really like it.

Very nice compared to others I have tried

I have used derma rollers before starting out with 0.25 mm. The 0.25 mm mainly helps with product absorption since it doesn't penetrate the dermis to stimulate collagen formation. I did this for a while until my complexion evened out. Then I started using a 1.0 derma roller. The one I had previous to this has 540 needles where this only has 200 needles. The number of needles count with more needle pricks. Also it hurts less with more needles, at least for me anyways. The 1.0 mm is long enough to penetrate the dermis to stimulate collagen, but it's not long enough to really do anything for cellulite since it has to do with the layer of fat under your skin that's pushing against connective tissue. For me, derma rollers have helped with my acne scarring mainly some hyperpigmentation and some shallow pits. It does take time to see results, so don't get discouraged. It took about 1 month for me to start seeing results with my acne scarring with the 540 needle one. I continued with this 200 needle one for 3 weeks and saw some more improvement in the hyperpigmentation. It stung a bit more than my other one, but seemed to work just the same. I have one deep chicken pox scar that I haven't seen any improvement in. It either may be too deep or it may take more time to show improvement.
The package says to use the derma roller in criss cross motions. This used to be the way that these were used, but now it has been proven that the best way to use this is in horizontal and vertical motions. The criss cross motions makes too many needle pricks in the center and not enough around the edges.
Also the best way to sterilize is to let it sit in rubbing alcohol for a minute or two before rolling. After rolling, wash with soap and water, but be careful not to poke yourself with the needles. Then let it set in rubbing alcohol for a few minutes, and let it air dry. Washing with soap and water is necessary because the alcohol doesn't remove biological material like skin. Before you use the derma roller, each time check the needles to make sure they are still straight and sharp. Make sure you check them BEFORE your first use.
